REVIEW - Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream (Cotton Fit)

Hello! So today, I am going to review the “Precious Mineral BB Cream - Cotton Fit” from my favorite Korean cosmetic store, Etude House. I have been using this BB Cream for almost a year now (and I will dispose it soon and try the new BB Cream - Perfect Fit). Read on if you want to know why!

I have no actual photo of the product since mine’s almost gone and it doesn’t look good on camera anymore. Lol. Like I said, I’ve been using this product for almost a year now so the bottle’s almost finished. I use it every day. I can’t leave home without wearing it!

This all-day pearly bright skin BB Cream perfectly glides onto skin providing clear and bright complexion with a smooth, cotton-like powdery finish for flawed skin.

There are three different shades in the “Cotton Fit” range. I got the lightest one which is N02 Light Beige.

Ehhh-okay. Love the pump, hate that it’s white. I am an extreme clean freak and I just hate it when it gets dirty. I have to constantly sanitize it with alcohol although I don’t mind since I sanitize my makeup stuff with alcohol twice a month.

Chemical-y floral-ish kind of scent. I’m not sure to be honest but it doesn’t smell bad and it fades away after a couple of minutes.

$15.94 from Cosmetic Love although I believe I got this at around 13-ish when they had it on sale some time ago.

The main reason why I used my arm instead of my face is because I had swimming class for one semester and my skin does not match the BB cream shade anymore. I believe my shade is somewhere in between the second or third shade now so my arm which never gets tan would do. x

Comes in a large tube - it will last all year with everyday use.
Can be used as a concealer
Brightens my skin ++
Covers redness slightly
Semi-matte. Good with oily skin

Clogs the pores on my nose and accentuates dry patches on your skin.
I hate the color of the packaging! It’s cute but it gets dirty so often. I'm a clean freak but sometimes I just can't be bothered cleaning it up. Haha x

If you have oily skin, this BB cream is for you. I have oily-combination skin and this works fine with me except that whenever I apply this BB cream by itself, it tends to accentuate clogged pores on my nose and dry patches on my brow, chin and cupid’s bow area. With further use, I found that mixing this product with your moisturizer will lessen the accentuation. Once this product expires, I will be buying Etude House's new BB cream - Perfect Fit, although I am seriously considering not going for semi-matte BB creams anymore since even if I use it, I still get oily unlike when I use dewy BB creams, I get oily but the pore accentuation is less likely to happen. Blooming Fit seems like a good BB cream too. I'll decide soon but right now, my goal is to get my skin color back to pre-semester shade because it just looks weird with BB cream on! x
